COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Golden Hurricane scores 6 runs on 10 hits; however, it is not enough as it drops one to Texas A&M, 9-6 at Davis Diamond Saturday afternoon.
Senior Alexis Perry led the Hurricane offensively, going 2-3 from the plate with three runs batted in. In her first start as a Hurricane, Imani Edwards went 3-4 with a triple and a run. Edwards, for the second straight game, stole a base for the Hurricane, putting her 2-2 on the season in stolen bases.
Tulsa put a runner on base in the first inning with an Edwards single, but a fielder's choice and strike out ended the inning.
