TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Softball team defeated Montana 3-1 to open up the Tulsa Invitational on Thursday evening at Collins Family Softball Complex. The Hurricane (12-9 overall) scored all three of their runs in the opening inning while surrendering no earned runs to the Grizzlies (7-13 overall) in the contest.
Morgan Neal drove in the first run of the night for Tulsa as she sent a hit up the middle to plate Julia Hollingsworth from second base for her 12th RBI of the year.
