TULSA, Okla. –– In his first game back in a Tulsa uniform, Jeriah Horne's career high-tying 28 points lifted the Golden Hurricane to an 82-75 win against the Northwestern State Demons on Wednesday evening at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
Tulsa moved to 1-0 on the season, while the Demons fell to 0-2 at the end of their two-game road trip through Oklahoma.
"Winning is hard," Tulsa head coach Frank Haith said. "You guys have heard me say that before. Mike (McConathy) has one almost 700 games, and he's got a guy like Coleman (Kendal), who's fantastic.
