TULSA, Okla. — Corey Henderson Jr. scored a career-high 30 points and Tulsa hit an American Athletic Conference record 17 3-pointers to defeat UConn, 90-88, in double-overtime on Wednesday night at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

Henderson Jr. hit eight of those 17 triples for the Golden Hurricane (10-5, 3-0), who connected on the conference record on the opening night of TU's participation in the Coaches vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge, and pulled down a career-high seven rebounds.
