Golden Hurricane Wins Series at Memphis with Doubleheader Split

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Tulsa softball team earned its first series win of the conference season with a doubleheader split against the University of Memphis at Tiger Softball Complex on Friday afternoon.

The Tigers jumped out to an early lead in game one and held off the Hurricane to win 5-3. Tulsa responded with a 1-0 win in game two, scoring in the final inning as Samantha Pochop outdueled the Tigers pitching staff.
