HOUSTON, Texas – Tulsa (13-13, 7-7 American) returned to action on Sunday as it traveled for an American Athletic Conference matchup with the Houston Cougars (9-13, 5-9 American). Mariah Pardo led the Golden Hurricane with 37 assists, in TU's four-set victory, 3-1 (25-23, 25-18, 22-25, 25-20).
The Hurricane started the match with a 12-7 lead in the first set. Tulsa extended its lead to 19-13, before it took the opening set, 25-23. Mariah Pardo and Lindsey Ledyard each tallied eight assists. Taylor Horsfall collected eight digs in the opening set, while Ashton Anderson added six digs.
