COLUMBUS, Ohio – Tulsa (3-3) needed a come from behind effort as it beat the Yale Bulldogs (2-3), 4-3, Sunday at the OSU Varsity Tennis Center. The Golden Hurricane collected four singles match victories in the final day of the ITA Kick-Off.
Ryan Cheng claimed the first set of the No. 4 singles match, 6-1, against Lucca Baptista. Baptista was resilient as he took the second set, 6-4. With the overall match between Tulsa and Yale tied at 3-3, the third and final set would determine the winner of the match.
