TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa track and field team had strong showings at the Iowa State Classic and the Fifth Annual Indoor Gorilla Classic on Friday, as 17 competitors set new personal-bests.
On the men's side, qualified for the 60-meter finals at Iowa State. After taking second in the preliminary round with a time of 6.96, he finished second overall at 6.89.
cut over five seconds off his previous best time in the 3,000-meter run, finishing in 8:21.15. erased almost 10 seconds off his PR from two weeks ago at Iowa, as he ran to a time of 8:25.
