TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Volleyball Team and Head Coach Ryan Wills have announced the hiring of Gary Mathews to the position of assistant coach on Wednesday.
"We are excited to have Gary back in Tulsa," said Wills. "Not many people have put more into Tulsa Volleyball than Gary. He knows the program and he knows the game. We are fortunate to have him join our team."
Mathews returns to Tulsa after serving as an assistant coach from 1997 to 2005, where his duties included recruiting efforts to coordinate, observe and evaluate prospective student-athletes.
