Fourteen Tulsa rowers were named as Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar Athletes, as announced by the CRCA. All student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, row in a minimum of 75-percent of the current spring races and have a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher as of December 2015.
"It's really exciting to see so many of our athletes earn the Scholar-Athlete Award this year," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "Our rowers are outstanding people and work very hard to excel in the boats and in the classroom. It's nice to see it pay off so tangibly.
