TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa volleyball program named former USA national team member Brittnee Cooper as an assistant coach, it was announced Friday by Head Coach Ryan Wills.
Cooper comes to Tulsa with seven years of professional volleyball experience. Her previous coaching experience was as a volunteer assistant coach at her alma mater, LSU, in 2010. While coaching, Cooper trained middle blockers and helped Desiree Elliot become the SEC Freshman of the Year in 2010.
"We are excited to have Brittnee join our staff," Wills said. "Brittnee brings valuable knowledge and experience to the position as a current professional volleyball player.
