Box Score HOUSTON, Texas – The Golden Hurricane use two home runs in the top of the 9th inning to take game 2 of the doubleheader 5-3, after dropping game 1 to the Houston Cougars, 9-5, at the Cougar Softball Stadium Friday evening.
Alexis Perry and Aubree Seaney led off the top of the 9th inning, hitting back-to-back home runs, giving the Hurricane a two-run lead. Samantha Pochop slammed the door on the Cougars striking out 2 of the last 3 batters, picking up her 10th win in the process.
