TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa football team donned shoulder pads on Day 3 today for the first time of preseason drills. The Hurricane practiced for two hours on Sunday morning at Harwell Field.
Through the first three days, Tulsa Head Coach Philip Montgomery has been pleased with the Hurricane defense and today saw more consistency from the offense.
"I thought our defense has really flown around. They seem like they're in mid-season form," said Montgomery. "In the backend, they're breaking on the ball, getting out of breaks and cuts extremely quick, and their length is showing up.
