The 6'4", 268-pounds defensive end has a stellar senior season in 2019 with 49 tackles and was among the American Athletic Conference leaders for sacks and TFLs. He totaled eight sacks for -52 yards to rank 5th in The American, while his 15 TFLs for -72 yards ranked 7th in the league. Gipson also added six quarterback hurries and forced two fumbles as a senior.
