Tulane's Hunter Williams hits walk-off homer in 9th to propel Green Wave past East Carolina

No. 27 Tulane baseball waited until the last possible moment to pass East Carolina in the runs column on Friday night at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium, but did just that as junior first baseman Hunter Williams hit a walk-off three-run home run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to put the Green Wave past the Pirates, 5-2.

How It Was Won: Tulane (20-9, 2-1) trailed the entirety of the game thanks in part to East Carolina's (20-10, 2-2) starting pitcher, Evan Kruczynski, who pitched 8.0 flawless innings. But in the bottom of the ninth, he plunked Jake Rogers to lead off the frame before allowing a single to Grant Witherspoon to put runners on the corners.
