Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte underwent a platelet-rich plasma injection in his injured right knee during the week. This injury is going to take some time to heal and he may miss additional time. As a matter of fact, it sounds like he will likely miss additional time. Forte understands he has to take the time to heal. "It takes time more than anything," Forte said. "Some people heal faster than others. But more than it being a mental thing, like, 'I'm injured,' it just takes a little time for it to heal before you can really do what you want to do … It's not something that I look forward to doing.
