TROY — The pain has given way to a different person and different player.
Troy defensive end Zo Bridges, after missing a year due to academics, returns this season with a changed perspective, one that he says already shows and one, teammates say, shows on the field, too.
“I am a completely, totally, different better person,” Bridges said. “It was a learning experience and humbling, but it was all worth it. I’m really glad I did it.
“It helps me focus more in the classroom and all around.”
