TROY, Alabama- The Troy women's tennis team defeated USC Upstate 5-2 on Monday in their second home match of the season at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. The Trojans improve to 3-8 on the season.
The Spartans took the early doubles point as they defeated Troy in two of the three matches to take a 1-0 lead. Jiayuan Xue and Efriliya Herlina won the Trojans lone doubles match powering past the Spartans 6-1.
Troy did not let an early deficit defeat them as they bounced back to win five of the six singles matches to earn the 5-2 win on the day.
