JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Alyssa Mercado rocketed up the leaderboard in Tuesday's final round of the First Coast Classic, shooting a 2-over 74 to climb seven spots into 12th place. Troy slid one spot on the team board into sixth place overall in the Trojans' second spring event.
Mercado, who was playing as an individual meaning her score didn't count towards Troy's team card, carded three birdies on the day and played in the red for six holes before a trio of bogeys towards the end of her round pushed her card over par.
