PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – Troy battled tough conditions Wednesday afternoon in the final round of the Callaway Gardens Invite as winds reached 20 miles-per-hour. Paced by a 3-under from Nicole Lorup, the Trojans finished in fifth place in the 10-team field.
Troy entered the day in third but slipped two spots as the wind played havoc on its round. Lorup carded four birdies on the day to finish her rise up the leaderboard after she sat tied for 26th place following the first round; she finished in a tie for seventh place for her first top 10 finish of the year.
