TROY, Ala. – ShaeLee Scarberry turned in her second straight top-10 finish to lead the Troy women's golf team to a fifth-place finish at the Idle Hour Collegiate Championship, which concluded with 18 holes Tuesday.
Scarberry fired a 2-over 74 with one birdie as she finished in a tie for seventh place after winning the Town & Country Invitational last week to end the fall on a high note. She shot 2-over for the tournament and finished 14th in the field with eight birdies.
The Trojans picked up 11 victories in the 16-team field and ended the day with a 14-stroke cushion on sixth-place James Madison.
