TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's basketball team earned its 21st win of the season Thursday night in front of a crowd of over 2,000. The Trojans 21st win of the season came against traditional Sun Belt power Little Rock, 77-59. The win keeps the Trojans in a tie for first-place in the Sun Belt standings with Coastal Carolina.
The contrasting styles of play were on full display Thursday night as the pace of play was slowed and defense became the key. Both teams shot right around 30 percent for the first-half before finding a rhythm in the second.
