CHARLOTTE, N.C. – In a field of over 30 teams on both sides, the women brought home eighth place while the men finished 12th at the Queens City Invite Friday at McAlpine Creek Park.
"Most, if not all, of the team recorded personal bests today, which is nice for this time of year," head coach Brian Cunningham said. "I think they did a good job of running as a pack and pushing themselves. We also gained some valuable experience racing against a large field. There is still work to do, to be sure, but I like the direction we are moving!
