With two weeks to go in the 2017 regular season, the Trojans are positioned to win at least a share of the Sun Belt Conference title for the first time since 2010. Troy (8-2 overall, 5-1 conference) would have snapped that skid last year but dropped a 28-24 decision to a Georgia Southern team that finished 2016 with a 5-7 record.
