MOBILE, Alabama – Troy got a career-high 25 points from Amber Rivers but it was not enough as the Trojans fell, 79-68, at the Mitchell Center on Saturday.

Troy (7-9, 2-3 Sun Belt) turned the ball over 21 times, including seven in the final quarter, and was just 2-of-17 from 3-point range, while South Alabama (11-5, 4-1) made 10 shots from distance in the contest.

Rivers got the Trojans off to a great start making the team's first six points of the game and handing Troy what would be its only lead on the day.
