Duke hammered out 22 hits on the way to a 15-6 victory over Troy in the Athens (Ga.) Regional Sunday night, ending the Trojans' season.
Troy, which lost 11-7 to host Georgia earlier in the day, finishes the year 42-21. Duke (41-16) meets Georgia in the regional championship game at 1 p.m. Monday.
On Sunday night, the Trojans jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning and were up 5-3 after two. However, the Blue Devils scored four runs in the third to take the lead and piled on the runs in the late innings.
