Troy's Nine Game Win Streak Snapped After Loss to UTA

TROY, Ala. – The Trojan's nine-game win streak ended Friday night after falling 6-3 to UT-Arlington from Clay Gould Ball Park.

Despite a three-hit night from and production from the bottom of the lineup Troy (15-6, 3-1) left seven runners on base and made three errors on the night, allowing UTA (7-14, 1-3) to pick up their first win in conference play.

(3-2) is given the loss after matching a season-low 3.1 innings pitched, allowing four runs on six hits with a walk and two strikeouts.

In his first start of the season, after two appearances coming out of the bullpen, the Maverick's Tanner King (1-2) got the win going five innings, giving up three runs on six hits, two walks, and striking out five.
