TROY, Ala. – Troy senior and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) President Alexis Garrett represented NCAA Division I student-athletes on behalf of the Sun Belt Conference at last week's NCAA Convention. Garrett had a seat at the table for voting on rule changes and also took part in leadership seminars throughout the week.
"Attending this year's NCAA Convention was a great opportunity for me and my leadership development," Garrett said. "I am also grateful for the opportunity I have to serve on the NCAA DI SAAC with a group of student-athletes who care about the NCAA 100 percent and the student-athlete experience.
