TROY, Alabama – 243 days after claiming its second consecutive Sun Belt Conference title, the Troy women's basketball team begins its quest for title number three as the team hosts Stillman on Friday in Trojan Arena at 12 p.m. Admission is FREE.
The Trojans were picked to finished third in the preseason conference poll, but must replace seven seniors, including the top four scorers from last season. An abundance of fresh faces will be on display including Sky'Lynn Holmes, who was rated a top 25 junior college recruit nationally out of Tyler Junior College. Holmes scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds in Troy's exhibition win over AUM on Nov.
