TROY, Ala. – The Troy Women's Basketball squad and head coach Chanda Rigby announced the addition of Jamila Nansikombi-Gunter Tuesday.
The 5'11'' guard comes to Troy out of Moberly Community College, where she helped lead the Lady Greyhounds to an at-large big into the NJCAA Tournament.
"Jamila 'Zama' Nansikombi-Gunter is a fantastic addition to our roster," Rigby said. "She is fast and forceful moving towards the basket on offense, and her athleticism and intensity on defense causes problems for opponents. We are thrilled to have her!"
The Kampala, Uganda native was a first team all-region selection last season after averaging 12.
