TROY, Alabama – The Troy volleyball team will make its much-anticipated 2017 debut with a three match tournament stint at South Carolina. The Trojans will face North Florida on Friday, August 25, at 3:30 p.m. and will take on host team South Carolina and Mercer on Saturday at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
First-year head coach Josh Lauer is at the helm for the Trojans in a new era of Troy volleyball. 11 letter winners return to the court for Troy this season. Key elements returning to the team include seniors Avalon Nero, and Reina Terry who posted a team-high 841 assists last season.
