TROY, Alabama- In it's first conference match at home, Troy (5-12, 0-3 SBC) fell to the Georgia Southern Eagles (5-8, 2-1 SBC) 3-0 on Friday night at the Trojan Arena.
Both teams were evenly matched each posting 40 kills, but Georgia Southern continued to find timely kills and blocks to seal three straight wins and its second conference win of the season.
Troy took an early 6-3 lead in set one and continues to hold on to the lead until the Eagles tied the set up at 18-18 and swung the momentum to the visitor side of the court.
