Troy upsets No. 25 LSU 24-21 at Death Valley

Running back Jordan Chunn ran for 191 yards and a touchdown and the Trojans added two more rushing scores from quarterback Brandon Silvers and Josh Anderson to help Troy upset No. 25 LSU 24-21 in front of 99,789 at Tiger Stadium.

Troy ended LSU’s 49-game non-conference winning streak at home. The last non-SEC team to beat the Tigers was UAB in 2000 – Nick Saban’s first season at LSU.

“Huge win. Huge win for our program. Very proud of our guys,” Troy coach Neal Brown began his postgame comments after the victory.

“We played physical. We ran the football.
