The Troy University Trojans football team made the trip to Middle Tennessee State for a non-conference game on Saturday, Sept. 19.
This is the season opener for Troy, which in 2019 went 4-7 overall and 3-5 in the Sun Belt Conference. MTSU comes into the contest 0-1 overall. It lost at Army 42-0 on Sept. 5 to open the season.
The two programs last met in 2012.
