TROY – Troy running back Josh Anderson deftly ran some routes and hauled in passes Brandon Silvers zipped to him Friday – just like the days of old.
Even though both of their Trojan careers have ended, Silvers and Anderson took to the Veterans Memorial Stadium turf Friday for one last performance.
Instead of executing plays in front of thousands of adoring fans, they were two of 19 former Trojans making some final NFL auditions in front of 24 NFL scouts and two Canadian Football League talent evaluators.
While many came to see a record-setting quarterback in Silvers and the record-breaking running back Jordan Chunn at Troy’s annual pro day, Anderson definitely made an impression.
