Neal Brown has built off success at Troy before, but his players have not.
Troy won the Sun Belt Conference in 2006, Brown's first year in his four-year stint as an assistant coach. The Trojans kept the success going, earning a sole or shared conference championship for the next four seasons.
It's the same thing Brown wants the Trojans to build on after last season, where Troy went 10-3, defeated Ohio in the Dollar General Bowl and spent a week ranked in the Associated Press top 25 for the first time in school history.
Last year, Brown's second as head coach, was Troy's first winning season since an 8-5 mark in 2010.
