TROY, Alabama- Peyton Glover had another solid outing in the circle as the Trojans continued to look strong on day two of the Troy Classic. Troy (3-0) took down the Valparaiso Crusaders (2-2), with help from freshman Bailey Taylor bringing in four RBI.
Both teams remained scoreless through four innings of play, until Troy broke out in the fifth inning putting up three runs off of four hits. Sophomore Logan Calhoun and senior Erica Davis got the party started with back-to-back singles, while Carli Kayler juiced the bases reaching on a Valpo error, allowing Calhoun to get across the plate.
