TALLAHASSEE, Florida – After a busy weekend in Orlando, Troy traveled down to Tallahassee to take on Florida A&M. The Trojans defeated the Lady Rattlers 3-2 and 8-2 in the midweek matchup.
Katie Lively and Stephanie Snyder both had a RBI to lead Troy (9-3) over Florida A&M (0-7) in game one while the Trojan offense dominated the second game with ten hits including two home runs.
"I was proud of the grit we showed throughout both games," head coach Beth Mullins said. "I don't think we played our best softball today but found a way to get two wins against a very tough scrappy team.
