TROY, Alabama – Troy University student-athletes performed well in the latest NCAA Academic Progress Rate numbers released this week as six programs ranked among the leaders in the Sun Belt Conference and the Troy football team posted the highest APR score in program history.
All of Troy's programs were well above the NCAA's 930 multi-year threshold, while the women's golf and women's cross country teams posted perfect 1,000 scores and received special recognition from the NCAA last week.
"Competing at a high-level academically will continue to be a priority for Troy Athletics, as evidenced by these latest APR scores," Troy Athletics Director Jeremy McClain said.
