ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington pushed all the right buttons in 76-57 win over Troy on Thursday in College Park Center.
Troy (7-7, 2-1 Sun Belt) struggled in all areas from the start making just 4 of its first 18 shots (22.2 percent) from the field and turning the ball over 12 times in the first half leading to 19 UTA points. The Trojans shot 29 percent (21-73) for the game and were forced into 22 turnovers.
The Maverick (8-6, 2-1) got a season-best performance from Sun Belt Preseason Player of the Year Rebekah VanDijk.
