TROY, Ala. – The Troy Softball team looks to carry its midweek momentum into the home conference opener against ULM this weekend at the Troy Softball Complex. The three-game series kickstarts on Friday at 6 p.m.
The Trojans (16-6, 2-1 Sun Belt) toppled NC State Tuesday, 7-0, in a road midweek tilt before heading home to the Troy Softball Complex.
Kelly Horne enters the weekend just one RBI shy of her 100th career RBI. The junior leads the team batting at .429 with five doubles and six home runs.
Inside the circle, Leanna Johnson (10-2) leads the way for the Trojans after shutting out the Wolfpack Tuesday.
