BATON ROUGE, La. – If recruiting ratings alone determined the outcome of college football games, there would be no reason for Troy to make the bus trip to LSU.
“LSU looks about like what you would think LSU looks like,” Trojans head coach Neal Brown said. “They are what they always are – one of the most athletic teams in the country.”
The Tigers get the nod in bigger and stronger as the teams line up in Tiger Stadium Saturday night. But Brown talked about LSU’s team speed as another concern. The speed of their pass rushers, the way their linebackers run, the closing speed of a young but very talented secondary and, of course, the big-play ability of the Tigers’ skill players are all challenges for the Trojans.
