Troy, Ala. – The Troy men's and women's cross country teams are set to open the 2018 campaign on Friday evening as the Trojans will travel to Oxford, Ala., to race in the JSU Struts Season Opener at Choccolocco Park. The women will race first at 6 p.m., running five kilometers while the men will follow in running a seven-kilometer race at approximately 6:45 p.m.
For the men, Troy will send two seniors in Brackin Stewart and Sawyer Sprung who finished 17th and 19th respectively at the Sun Belt Championships last season.
