TROY, Ala. -- Troy scrimmaged for the final time of fall camp Friday under the lights in The Vet. The Trojans' annual Student Appreciation Scrimmage kicked off at 5:05 p.m. and that start time was no coincidence; Troy opens the season on Sept. 1 against No. 22 Boise State in The Vet at 5:05 p.m.
"I really appreciate the students turning out and I hate that the weather delayed us a little bit there at the start -- it's good for our football team because the last two years we've had to deal with weather delays and we've handled those situations well and we won," head coach Neal Brown said.
