NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The Troy women's basketball team forced a program record 48 turnovers and registered 25 steals – second-most in school history – en route to a 95-66 win over Tennessee State in the Gentry Center on Monday.
Harriet Winchester led the Trojans (3-1) with 17 points while Sky'Lynn Holmes posted her second consecutive double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds to go along with a game-high five assists.
The Trojans led the entire game and dominated in the paint outscoring the Tigers 54-30. Troy entered the game eighth in the nation averaging 91.
