Troy QBs to play waiting game; Pogue needs voice work

TROY — Neither of Troy’s quarterback hopefuls made a massive statement in Saturday’s T-Day game, and coach Neal Brown made an unsurprising announcement afterward.

The Trojans won’t decide who will start this season for a while.

Both Sawyer Smith and Kaleb Barker threw for a touchdown and an interception in full-scrimmage situations. Barker had a second TD in the 7-on-7 second quarter. Barker also had a pass tipped and intercepted on the final play.
