NEW ORLEANS — The Troy Trojans capped their first full day in New Orleans on Wednesday by watching the NBA’s Pelicans, which of course led to their quarterback’s playful bluster Thursday.
Except senior Brandon Silvers didn’t quite meet expectations.
Sure, he followed a longstanding script and touted his alleged basketball expertise, but he stopped short of saying he could play in the NBA.
