Troy processes Arkansas State loss; looks to move forward

“I was pretty blunt about it after the game, and not much has changed. We played poorly in all stages of the game. I credit Arkansas State,” Trojans head coach Neal Brown said Monday. “You have to use this as a learning tool so you don’t make the same mistakes. I won’t bring it up a single time after today.”

Naturally after Thursday’s loss – which came with Troy ranked No. 25 in the Associated Press poll and on ESPNU – the Trojans (8-2 overall, 5-1 Sun Belt Conference) experienced disappointment. Players, though, said they coped with that stage this past weekend by focusing on a couple of different aspects of this season.
