Troy OC Ryan Pugh a Broyles Award Nominee

TROY, Ala. – First-year Troy offensive coordinator Ryan Pugh is one of 41 assistant coaches nominated for the Broyles Award, the Frank & Barbara Broyles Foundation announced Wednesday. The award is presented annually to the nation's top assistant coach.

Pugh, a Hoover, Alabama native, has helped guide the Trojans to one of the top offensive units in the country. Troy ranks 10th nationally and first in the Sun Belt averaging 320.3 yards per game through the air, and the Trojans are 22nd in the country in scoring (36.3) and 19th in total offense (408.
