TROY – If the Troy Trojans were heading northwest to Idaho in order to start the season in cooler weather, Saturday’s game against Boise State will be disappointing.
According to forecasts, temperatures will climb near the century mark for the 2:45 p.m. kickoff. Even though the heat will be accompanied by very low humidity, Trojans head coach Neal Brown expects the weather to provide both teams a challenge in the season opener.
“I don’t think either team will succumb to fatigue, but I think what it will do is force both staffs to play a lot of people, especially early in the game,” he said.
